Who we are

Yoga in the Center is a non-heated Yoga studio, located in the heart of Mill Creek Town Center.

We are privately owned and operated, making our studio feel like a place you call your second home.

We offer various classes for all individuals to explore their practice regardless of their experience level. You can find more details about our classes on the CLASS DESCRIPTION page.

Our mission is to offer the Practice of Yoga to our community in a way that meets you where you at. We have a ‘come-as-you-are’ policy and believe all Yoga is good Yoga, and you can’t be ‘bad’ at it.

What you can expect

Yoga in the Center honors the layers of Yoga that go beyond the mat. When you practice with us you can expect to not only enjoy a physical practice but in addition we thread in meditation, pranayama (breath practices), Yoga principles, ethics, and other practices.

  • Our instructors are certified, qualified, and passionate about guiding you through your practice.

  • Our Classes are 60 min long, we provide all the props you might need or want for your practice so all you need is to bring yourself, and a mat if you have one. (if not you can borrow one of ours)

  • Some of our instructors offer individual adjustments and cues, that might be verbal or a gentle, physical assist. If you do not feel comfortable with that please let the instructor know before class.

Yoga Etiquette

To be able to offer the classes and experience we know you expect we ask that you take a moment and review our studio etiquette.

  • Plan to arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled class start. This will give you time to get checked in, have your belongings stored, your mat rolled out, and grab whatever props might be needed for your class before the class starts.

  • NO CELL PHONES in the studio. We offer lockers you can use to keep your items secure. Let this be a time for you to disconnect from the outer world so you can reconnect to your inner world.

  • Be kind and courteous. We’re all here together and you just never know what other people are going through. Yoga is a practice that can be healing and transformative, Yogs in the Center is a space we can all feel comfortable to do so.
